5This other "Absolutely Hopeless" guy has it all wrong  Jan 18, 2008 By A. Cummings "Big TV Fan"
The above (or below depending on where they put this) guy is mistaken. Yes, the clasping leather band is a little weird, but i can't imagine that it is too small for his wrist, as i also have semi-small wrists and i have plenty of room in either direction from my comfort setting.
This watch is excellent... i got the black version which i think is cooler, but so far so good.

5I dig it.  Apr 20, 2008 By J. T. Garno
This watch is quite nice. I had a citizen with chronograph, which was nice, but the chronograph feature on the PRC200 is much more accurate and user friendly. It is also much easier to reset. This is a great watch, no doubt about it.

3I wish the band was better quality!  Jan 08, 2011 By Breezy
I absolutely love the face of the watch and the finish is amazing. The color and the chrome is great yet not too flashy. Very elegant with the band and could be used both as a dress watch and casual everyday watch. The timer is great because it is accurate. Tachymeter is cool too since I just learned how to use it. Functions of the watch are definitely precise.

The band is Horrible. Cheap plastic feeling and I really do not believe is real leather. If you are planning on buying this watch, I suggest you buy the stainless band or buy a new leather band for this because the one it comes with is stiff, cheap and flakes.

Great watch but the band is sub-par.

5Lets clear some things up.  Feb 07, 2012 By Jay
I read many reviews before purchasing this watch, not just on this particular product but many watches in this price point. My reviews were not only limited to Amazon but many sources including knowledgeable watch connoisseurs that I know personally. My money, like many of you I'm sure, is not something I like to spend on cheap products. I made myself very aware of what was out there. I am fairly new to collecting in the watch world and still have a lot to learn, however I feel that many that purchased this product have much more to learn as well after reading a lot of the comments. First lets address the leather issue I've seen discussed. People have said that it is cheap, plastic. This couldn't be further from the truth. The watch is actually a crocodile grain leather. If you are familiar with crocodile leather it is more glossy and stiff than patent leather and also more durable. It is one particular reason I bought this watch because I loved the crocodile band.

Secondly lets talk about the clasp. It is a deployment clasp, this is a good thing. A deployment clasp is used for both functionality and durability. It saves you from bending and cracking the leather like you would with a normal clasp and if you know how to use it effectively allows you to put on and take off the watch a lot faster. For anyone that is struggling with this clasp watch this video. [...].

This is a great watch. Everything about it is nice in quality, all the features of the chronograph work flawlessly. It has a classic design that will ever go out of style and can be worn casually or formally. Great value, great design, great watch.

4Great watch, terrible strap  Mar 03, 2011 By Krishnan Srinivasan
so i bought this watch after reading the reviews that said that the strap was less that great. my thinking was that the strap was reasonably fungible, what mattered was the rest. very true - this strap sucks, and represents fairly poor design and thought. the mechanism takes a while to get used to, and this kind of mechanism is harder to operate if the strap is somewhat stiff, which it is. once you get the strap on, then it becomes really hard to thread the tail through the strap loops - the first loop is fixed, and so close to the strap mechanism that you have to bend the tail significantly to thread it in, and when you do that, the mechanism unlatches. will almost certainly replace the strap.

the watch itself - looks very nice, and has a nice heft to it
