1please don' buy  Feb 28, 2010 By A. Como "irate customer"
i ordered this toy despite the negative review, because our grandson insisted, he desperately wanted it for his birthday. the first reviewer was lucky, at least it worked for an hour. in our case it did not work at all! ordered a replacement.. did not work at all, again!! by this time the child's disappointment was hard for a grandmother to take. that is why i say, please don't buy. i don't want another child to experience what luke did.

2Not that fun  Apr 14, 2010 By GREGG
My son wanted the shark for Christmas and it didn't really work until we placed extra cushion where the battery was stored. The shark then worked. It isn't great though. Moves slowly and control isn't the best.

1What's worse -- a bad toy or the indifferent company?  Dec 01, 2010 By Techster "Dave"
I bought the Swimline RC Submarine, not this toy. I am sharing my experience with the company with regards to the poor product they sold and the poorer customer service so that the consumer can be warned.

Within minutes of exploring the mysteries of my pool, the sub died.

Could not get the company on the phone and they ignored my emails.

The autopsy revealed that water had breached the port nacelle and the engine flooded.

I will never again purchase anything from Swimline/ILP.

The toy was crap and their customer service crappier.

1Don't Buy  Jan 18, 2010 By C. Eveld
I bought this Shark for my grandson for Christmas. We put it in the pool it swam about 1 foot and sank to the bottom. Never worked again.

1Junk! Never worked  Aug 26, 2011 By Angela
Does not work. Took it out of the box put batteries in , the tail moved a couple times and then nothing. Drove to store and bought new batteries still did not work. Dad and five year old son were both equally upset . Toy looks cool, but is a piece of crap.
