Love this product. Gives me faster results than just working out without it. May be a mental thing but when I looked in the mirror two weeks after starting my workout routine, I didn't see too much of a difference. After a week of my normal workout and chugging two of these, one in the morning for breakfast and one after my workout, I started to see the change in my body and it was fast. I think it really helps to burn off unwanted fat quickly and I recommend this product to anyone that is going to actually stick to a workout plan. This will help you get the fast results you're looking for. If you're spotty and not committed to a plan, don't bother with it. Just drinking protein drinks does nothing if you don't actually put in the work that is necessary. This product is a little pricey but with all due respect to amazon, I found it at Costco for much less. $27 for a case of 12. Shipping is steep for this on amazon.

I have used this product for quite some time and rather enjoy the flavor. The formula in the bottle presented contains 270 calories and for me a rather high amount of fat. The oils are however heart healthy oils, sunflower or safflower oil and canola oil. They are heart healthy because they are very low in saturated fat and high in what the Cytosport company calls medium chain fatty acids which I believe are polyunsaturated and monounsaturated oils. Theses are the oils that lower cholesterol and elevate HDLs.

There is a newer formulation in a figure 8 shaped bottle that weighs in a 220 calories and has a little less oil and protein. The flavor is the same and I believe this formulation is just as good.

Vegetarians may want to avoid this product because the protein used is whey. Lacto/ovo vegetarians could use it however.

Food purist may want to avoid it because it does contain artificial sweeteners, sucralose and asulfame potassium. The sweeteners are commonly used and I presume generally considered safe. I generally avoid them but make a exception for this product only.

You don't need to be a body builder to use them. I am underweight and have high blood pressure and osteoporosis. This product helps me not to lose weight, provides calcium and heart healthy oils.

Since using this product as well as making some other dietary changes my total cholesterol has dropped from 230 to 181. My HDL level is quite high. Big improvements given the cardiac history in my family. No, I can't claim this product brought about those changes but I believe it helped.

At any rate I enjoy the vanilla flavor and intend to keep using it. I believe most people would enjoy the flavor as well as some to the others and would recommend trying a few bottles.
