I just tried Muscle Milk for the first time last week after seeing it on the shelves. I workout and "try" to eat right so I eat smaller meals throughout the day.

Muscle Milk makes a good snack for me. You can use it as a pre workout or post workout shake too. But I like to use it between meals.

How does it taste? I like it! It has a chocolate taste but not like chocolate milk. It's hard to describe unless you've drank protein shakes before. I've gotten used to that taste so I like it. My girlfriend, who doesn't drink protein shakes ever, tried it and said it wasn't bad.

I made the mistake of buying a full carton of these because there wasn't a single available to try. The "chocolate" taste is so nasty and fake, and it kind of sticks with you for hours afterwards. Seriously, you'll want to have a toothbrush handy afterwards.

First off, I think this was a great price for 24 RTD Muscle Milk lights at 20grams of protein each one. Way cheaper then buying individually at the store or gas stations. I like to drink them at my serving job to give me energy, keep me from being hungry, and keep me from eating all the fatty foods we serve.

Anyway, so box 1 was fine, but the second box I had, everything was chunky. They were both kept out of the sun and heat and I can't explain why it is the way it is, it's just kinda gross. I still drink them and try to mix them up and I don't get sick so I'm pretty sure it's ok. I've resorted to putting them in a blender and blending it up with a banana, small amount of water and ice. Tastes amazing like that. Still disappointed that the 2nd box was the way that it was.

My doctor recommended Muscle Milk Light. I never liked protein shakes, but MML tastes good, not chalky and I never have an aftertase. Not drinking it, I fell completely off the wagon and I will begin again, using MML to kick start my restart to eating healthy again. I got mine from COSTCO, but I will order on line because they will deliver it right to my door. It takes away my tendency to buy stuff I don't need to eat! If I had to say what is best about MML, it would be that running out the door, I don't have to even think of what to make for breakfast, I just grab one and go! It has a sippy straw and works fast.

I drank muscle milk for the first time at lunch today. It tasted fine. Kind of a candy/vitamin/chocolate taste. But, I've had a sweet aftertaste in my mouth for ten hours so far. Nothing seems to get it out; salty cashews, salsa, brushing my teeth, eating a jalapeno, gargling with Scotch, nothing! Still a very sweet taste is in my mouth. I hope it is gone by tomorrow, this is beginning to worry me.
