Just an Idea! Apr 28, 2012
By R. M. Hutchins What, typically, causes the light to "blink" on and off (regardless of how you position aperture cover, or regardless of which product you are using) is that the light which is turned ON by the device shines enough light on the photocell to tell the device that there is light; so the device, then, thinks there is light and turns the light OFF! Then, when the device turns the light OFF, it is dark; so the device thinks it is dark, and turns the light ON. This repeats indefinitely! You need to position the light so that when the light turns on, the light does NOT trip the photocell; the photocell must rely on a light source (or lack thereof) other than the light which is turned on by the photocell device (point the photocell AWAY from the light which is being turned on by the photocell).
