Not worth the money Sep 05, 2011

Within a week of being outside the the plastic post started to warp and bend forward. The basket now leans forward and makes it pretty tough to make a basket. Very disappointing!

I assumed that when I purchased this item for my step son, that it was a newer, up to date, toy.
For starters, the box that this item was in was torn to hell and back. It was ripped up and torn and I was unable to wrap the box in wrapping paper to present at his birthday party because of this. Instead, we just put it together and placed it in his bedroom with a bow on it. Not exactly how we wanted to do it, but we didnt have much choice.
Secondly...the item, when removed from it's box, was dusty, as though it had been sitting out in a warehouse for years, open to the elements and then later shoved into a crappy box to ship it out...
And how do I know this isn't an up to date toy? It doesn't have Oklahoma City Thunder logo on it...it has Oklahoma City SONICS. OKC have not had that name since 2008.
I am disapointed, thus far...hopefully, my stepson will at least get some enjoyment out of the toy.
