Received the new control board for the Aqua Rite Chlorine Generator, and it was a breeze to replace....only took 5 minutes,and I was back up and running. Doing it myself saved me $200.00 and I simply reconnected the wires as they came off, with the power off of course.

I ordered the circuit board replacement, installed it myself, and it works fine. I needed to ask the company service techs a few questions and they were very helpfful.

Bought the Hayward Main Circuit Board in April of 2011. I recently re-opened my pool after the winter and my year old Hayward Circuit Board won't give me an accurate salt level, always below 2700, so the cell won't generate chlorine!
I called Goldline Controls and they said it was under warranty but i would have to call the local repair company. The local repair company says they will charge a $125 service fee. Trying to call Hayward back to see if they can exchange the board without paying somebody $125 to tell me the board doesn't work! I talked to Bob at Goldline Controls, he said that I had to go through local distibutor for the warranty work - now I will see what i get for the $125.00

It only took about 30 minutes to replace the board, and that included taking some pictures along the way. The redesign of the fuse (it was external on the old board, but is on-board in this new PCB) took me a few extra minutes to re-route the wires properly. All the steps are documented in the supplied instructions. Everything worked immediately when I restore power to the pool equipment.
One cosmetic issue with the board is that capacitor C1 is too close to one of the standoff studs for the display daughter board, causing the display to be skewed by a couple of mm's. The LCD and LED's don't fit the faceplate 100%. Everything is functional, though.
