| | Description | Chilly Dana® absorbs sweat and keeps you cool during a workout, hard ride, tough climb, or any other strenuous activity. Rinse Chilly Dana with warm water before using for the first time. Keeping the Chilly Dana wet will allow its moisture to evaporate and continue cooling for hours. If the towel begins to dry out, simply re-wet and keep cooling. | |

Performed better than I ever imagined Jun 25, 2011
By That Guy I purchased this product for myself and three friends prior to a military deployment. I wasn't sure how well they would perform in the desert, but had heard good things from others. This product performed above and beyond what I had expected. Recently I was working in 50 degree C heat, I hydrated the bandana with hot bottled water and wrapped it around my neck within a few seconds I could tell a noticeable difference in my comfort level. The bandana managed to stay cool for hours even in the oppressive heat. I strongly recommend this for anyone whom has to wear body armor for long periods of time in a hot environment. I prefer the bandana over the towel size of the same product, but in the future would like to see something sized between the bandana and towel.
If you are planning on working outdoors in a hot environment I strongly recommend this product.

Must have in hot weather! Jul 13, 2011
By mamaof2 I love love love this product. We live in San Antonio TX, (100-degree plus, summers!). I purchased these for emergency use, but we use them all the time!. They have been lifesavers on Sea World trips. It is large enough to throw around an adult's shoulders like a cooling shawl, and I can wrap my 1 1/2 year old in it to cool him down too. I believe these saved us from heat exhaustion. There is now one in each car.

Works ok, but not great. Aug 24, 2011

"YMMV"
I was really hoping for better. It does cool quicker than a wet towel, but I think it is limited by the high humidity and heat of the Savannah, GA. I belive in a low humidity climate, it would work very well. But for now it serves as a headband/sweatband.

Works pretty good Jun 26, 2011
By Douglas C. Tatner II I've tried the product at work, and I'd recomend it. It works pretty well, and all you have to do is remoisten it every 4-6 hours or so.

I like the Chilly Towel better Dec 13, 2011
By CastleLyons I bought this during the extreme heat of Missouri's summer this year, and most places were totally out of stock! The black bandana was the only Frogg Togg I could find. It works like it's supposed to, but I found that I like the blue Chilly Towel much better. It just feels a little softer than the Frogg Togg. Both products will get stiff when they dry out, and the bandana style ends dry out very quickly. Although I do like the fact that I can tie the ends around my neck so that it stays in place, those ends will dry out and get stiff.
