5Makes a scrumptious, decadent shake! See recipe below  Jul 11, 2011 By Emmanuel 89 "Emmanuel"
I mixed 1 scoop of this vanilla protein powder with 1 cup of skim milk, a handful of ice cubes, and 2 teaspoons of Maxwell House International Cafe's Toasted Hazelnut Cappuccino Beverage Mix in a blender. The shake was tastier than a Starbucks Frappaccino. You've got to try this! It's even better with frozen coffee ice cubes. :)

5excellent taste & overall effect  Apr 15, 2011 By alcu
Ive been using this protein for about 1 week since switching from six-star prof. strength Whey (sold at walmart) and I must say ... WOW! whats a huge difference. Not only did I get 6 lbs at costco for the price of 3.5 lbs at walmart, but this stuff tastes way better than SS, and it really does dissolve at the swirl of a spoon. I pruchased the vanilla and it has a nice taste with a sweet hint to it. I especially like that I can mix it with water and it doesn't taste rancid like most other proteins when mixed in water. For a treat I now mix in milk and it tastes extra great, whereas before I had too mix the SS with milk + peanut butter to mask the taste. Also, I now notice I dont have the gaseusness I had with the SS whey. Another great benefit to this whey is that it's gluten-free .... awesome! Overall, this whey is a good price, very effective for muscle recovery, has 1g more protein in 2g less serving size, and doesn't require a mixer to make it homogenous. A+++ for vanilla. I have not tried chocolate.

5Great taste  Mar 12, 2011 By J
Just bought this recently, and really enjoy it. I got it from Costco for $32. It's a really good price, compared to going to GNC, or another sport store. The taste is really good, and it mixes really well in a blender. I havn't tried mixing it in a glass. When I make my shakes, I put bananna's, and strawberries in it. It gives me a full feeling for a long time also. I take it after working out.

5I can't believe how great this tastes  Mar 22, 2012 By Customer
I have been using this for 5 days. I am on it 2 meals per day for weight loss. I can't believe how good it is with milk or water. I mix fruit for variety. I have stuck to 2 a day for 5 days without any problem. I can diet forever if it tastes this good!

5crazy good smoothie or ?  Jan 05, 2012 By healthyforlife
I've been using the CytoSport Whey protein for a year, both the vanilla and chocolate. I'm very pleased with the taste and how easy it is to use. I've gotten more creative in my mixology. So give this a try if you dare. Start with a good size cup, throw in a couple handfuls of spinach (pre-washed, Costco), a small handful of blueberries (Costco/fresh or frozen), add protein and pour 8 to 10oz water. Then mix away with a hand blender (Cuisinart "SmartStick" rocks) or start the whole process with a traditional blender or juicer. The vanilla and blueberries do a great job masking the flavor of the spinach. I even threw in some broccoli once and I drank the stuff without gagging. So call me crazy, but this mix is easy to throw together, seems healthy . . . it's satisfying and with the hand mixer easy clean-up. I'm getting sick of salads, so this has been a great way to get my iron without relying solely on a supplement. I'm new to all this and welcome suggestions. Welcome to 2012!
