Works great Oct 02, 2008

I'm a first year college student and had to ditch the blender for a protein shaker. It's been over a month now and it's still working great. My protein powder is never clumpy (ON Whey). I generally shake it for 40-60seconds. Ignore the comments about this leaking - if you make sure the lid is on tight and the caps are closed, it won't leak - trust me on that.
It's a good product for the price. I highly recommend it.

awful plastic smell Aug 26, 2009

I purchased a pair of these shaker bottles about a year ago and they constantly stink of plastic. Whatever they're made of, they never smell clean. The material these are made of makes the liquid inside tase of plastic.

Works great Mar 08, 2009
By dssdsdsdsd Great for mixing my daily whey shakes. I use only plain water.
I did notice that when I use soy milk, some of the whey powder gets stuck at the top of the blades, but I think that's a soy milk/whey issue, not a bottle issue because that doesn't happen with water.
However, there are a couple things one must pay attention to; they are not really design flaws, just details that could cause a leak:
1) The blade "net" on the inside only fits in a certain way. Unless it is pressed firmly inside, the top will not screw in all the way.
2) The caps that fit over the mouthpiece and small vent hole need to be pressed on fairly firmly. Often it seems like I closed it, but it will actually be loose.
Again, these are not any kind of major problems with the product. It really is a great quality shaker, and as long as you're paying attention, it will not leak at all.

Terrible.. Nov 17, 2011
By San Don't buy it, please! This thing has a really awful smell if you leave the top closed. It mixes pretty good, but sometimes it leaks; it's just very poorly designed.
I don't recommend it!

Doesn't last very long... Aug 14, 2011
By Chris I was pretty happy with this bottle until it started leaking like crazy after a few months. The biggest leak came from a crack in the smaller vent cap that was most likely caused by repeated pressure to keep the seal tight. Over time, the physics of the design simply causes the plastic to split. If the cap was made of something more elastic like silicone or rubber, this problem probably wouldn't exist. The rest of the leaking seems to be coming from a worn-down rubber seal that lines the inside of the cap. Even though it's sightly more expensive, I'm buying a BlenderBall BlenderBottle to replace my BodyTech bottle.
