best we have ever used Aug 10, 2011
By corey We have used this product for years. We live in northerm Mn and this has been the only thing we found that protects us. We have not been able to find it in any stores this year so I decided to check on line and found that Amazon carried it at the best price.
Product description is wrong it is 25% DEET Feb 16, 2012
By cahillj I use this on every hike I take in New England during the mosquito season. I find it the most effective of all the sprays and it lasts. Use sparingly on the skin and watch out for plastics as it can damage them. The SRA-6 spray is 25% DEET (zoom in on the image and you can read the content) and not 0.5% Permethrin as stated in the product description.

By Steve S Hong I bought this b/c it had a great review. so I bought it when I was going to Dominican Republic for a mission trip. I knew there will be a lot of mosquitoes and sand flies. When I was there, I spread it on my arms and legs and I instantly felt some burning sensation. and it had a strong chemical odor. I think it did work in terms of keeping the insects away but with the cost of 33% Deets. So I used 15% Deet containing insect repellent (Off!) and it worked very well. 7.5% Deet didn't work as well. So my recommendation is go with Deet ingredient of around 15% or less. Ultrathon is WAY too harsh for your skin. You don't have to go that strong unless may be you are going to Amazon Jungle or somewhere deep in Africa.

Ultrathon Jun 30, 2004 It is really good! I wasn't attacked by mosquitoes or ticks for a long time at all!
