A kit with issues at a good price Nov 20, 2009
By G. Nagy
"Knower of things"
I have recently started building models again after a break of over 10 years, and while I was never stellar I could hold my own and build some nice models, though they were definitely not show quality. This kit is a great value for the size of plane you get for roughly $20, but for that price there have been some short cuts taken. The fit: the main body and wings of the plane fit very nicely with minimum patching a putty needed to fill in gaps. The nose section however is very ill fitting and not only requires putty but also some sanding and reshaping to fit properly. If this is not done the pieces for the nose glass will not fit properly leaving gaps. If you are inexperienced this might cause a challenge far beyond the skill 2 rating on the box. I have also found that mounting the bombs in the manner given in the instructions will cause the body of the plane not to fit together. Lastly I wanted to mention that if you like building your airplanes with wheels up, as I do, you will have to do some modifications to the wheel well covers and the ladder hatches to have them fit properly. Building straight out of the box, the quality and detail is what you would expect out of a budget priced kit, but as I have said the overall fit is not bad. Details to things like the machine guns and engine exhaust ducts are pretty basic, but with some work this kit can be made to look pretty nice.

Great Model Kit Oct 10, 2011
By amazon007 Watch Video Here: http://www.amazon.com/review/R2EQCIGPP3ATGT This is the B25 that i built.I put some lights in it and two 1.5-3 volt motors. It was a fun build but I had trouble fitting in all the electrical wiring, and many inside details had to come out. I definitely recommend this model.

Great Fun! May 05, 2011
By Sarge58 Great little model. Bought this for my son's 12th birthday. He loves WWII vehicles. Teaches your child many useful skills and the best thing is he is learning on his own. Came quickly and in good shape. You cannot go wrong with Revell or Amazon!

The Title for My Review Jan 15, 2011

I bought this for my daughter. It was her first attempt at building a model.
The Amazon description is not clear: you need glue and paint. This is not a beginning kit but my daughter did o-kay...the next one will be better!

Nice kit for the price Mar 19, 2012
By 7xChamp I built this kit to keep me from going nuts while recovering from a herniated disk. The instructions are a little vague in some spots, so you may have to "wing it" (pun intended) like I did. Another reviewer complained it's too light in the nose and won't stand up, and he was right. However, I found by placing a AAA battery in the bombardiers crawlway, you can solve this problem nicely. Some puttying is required with the fuselage seam and with the nosepiece. I like the fact that you could finish it in either Army colors or Air Force colors...
