Description

Named for the man who founded the company, the Enzo is the next step in Ferrari's supercar evolution. This mid-engined screamer is the stuff legends are made of: a 6 liter V-12 engine producing 660 horsepower in a 3,000 lb car translates into 0 to 60 mph times of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 218 mph. No wonder all 349 copies Ferrari built were spoken for in record time.

Body pieces are molded in white. Clear pieces included for windows and light lenses. Accurate aerodynamic Ferrari bodywork. Detailed interior. Realistic V-12 engine. Hinged rear deck. Aluminum-finish Ferrari 5-spoke wheels. Treaded black vinyl Bridgestone Potenza tires. Positionable front wheels. Separate frame and floor pan. Includes flexible detail screening for body vents. Clear pictorial instructions. Requires paint and glue (not included). Previous modeling experience recommended.

4Great Model, Hard to Build and Finish  Jan 23, 2005 By Gregory Potter "Greg Potter"
This model is definately a level 3 kit. I just started modeling again after 25 years and made a mistake buying this kit. However, the kit was awesome. Came cleanly packaged. If you're an advanced modeler this kit's for you. If not, stick with level 2 or 1. Greg

5Lots and lots of parts  Mar 21, 2008 By Joseph H. Burnette "Joseph Burnette"
If you like difficult models, this is up your ally. There wer eight pages of instructions. Just to give an example of difficulty, the exhaust was in 11 pieces. Very fun though. It made my fiancee mad, because I could not quit building it. I learned so much about Ferrari engineering. Did you know that the transmissions goes from points toward the back of the car and the drive shafts run through the center of it? I didn't. Did you know that the Enzo has fans in the front, to pull air and send it across the out side of the car to intake right behind the door? Did you know that the Emergency brake is between the driver and the door?

I recomend this to any patient model builder and/or Ferrari enthusiest.

5Highly detailed kit of the ultimate Ferrari.  Dec 31, 2010 By Don S.
If you're looking for a 1/24-scale model kit of the Ferrari Enzo, skip tamiya's pricey version and get the Revell. The box is full of parts, but with time and patience, everything fits together well. Parts are molded in white and clear, and there are also some chrome-plated parts as well as soft rubber tires.

4MOLDED in WHITE  Nov 20, 2008 By Robert Jordan
Other than windows, lenses, and tires, the entire model is molded in white. The box lists: Aluminum, Flat Black, Gloss Red, Semigloss Black, Silver, and Satin Red paints.

Wish I had known that ahead of time.

Guess I'll end up with a very white Ferrari.
(Just making fun...need paint now.)

Overall, indeed a well detailed model kit.

4Ferrari Enzo  Mar 05, 2008 By KChin
It was challenging for me but fun at the same time. I had to go out and buy glue and paint so it took quite awhile to finish. But it was a good product.. and fast shipping!
